The Mad Monks of Melody is a seven-piece Dixieland band which performs a lineup of New Orleans style jazz at church services, parades, grand openings, and park district programs. Their repertoire consists of Dixieland standards and pop tunes from the 1920's and 1930s, including 25 hymns such as Just a Closer Walk with Thee, Amazing Grace, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, What a Wonderful World, and When the Saints Come Marching In.

The Mad Monks previously did a concert to benefit the Chapel in 2001.
